Digital goods are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once used, so this policy sets out exactly when you get your money back, how long it takes and what evidence we need.
Every order is paid into escrow. We do not release funds to a seller until the order is delivered and the dispute window has closed, which is what makes these guarantees enforceable.
1.When you get a full refund
- The item was never delivered within the delivery time stated on the listing.
- The key, code or account details do not work, and the seller cannot supply a working replacement within 24 hours.
- The item was materially different from the listing — wrong region, wrong platform, wrong edition, or missing content that was advertised.
- The account or item was recovered, reclaimed or revoked within the warranty period shown on the listing.
- The order was duplicated by a technical fault on our side.
- We cancelled the order ourselves, for example because a listing was priced in obvious error.
2.When a refund is not available
- You revealed and redeemed a working key or code, and simply changed your mind.
- You supplied the wrong player ID, server or region and the seller delivered exactly as instructed.
- Your own account was banned by the game publisher for conduct unrelated to the item purchased.
- You bought a boosting service that has already been completed as described.
- The warranty period shown on the listing has expired.
- You breached these terms, for example by reselling the item or attempting a chargeback while a dispute was open.
3.Statutory withdrawal rights
Consumers in the EEA and the UK have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins with your express consent, which you give at checkout by confirming you want instant delivery. This does not affect your rights where the item supplied is faulty or not as described.
4.How to request a refund
- Open the order from Order Tracking or your account and choose "Report a problem" — do this before contacting your bank.
- Pick the reason and attach evidence: a screenshot of the activation error, the recovery notice, or a short screen recording of the redemption attempt.
- The seller has 24 hours to respond with a replacement or a refund.
- If they do not resolve it, escalate to G2Gamers support from the same screen. We review the order log and evidence and decide within 72 hours.
5.Deadlines
- Non-delivery: raise the claim any time after the stated delivery window passes.
- Faulty or invalid item: within 7 days of delivery, or within the listing's warranty period if it is longer.
- Account recovery or revocation: within the warranty period shown on the listing.
- Boosting orders: before you confirm completion, or within 48 hours of the service being marked complete.
6.How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, wallets within 24 hours and cryptocurrency refunds at the network rate on the day of processing. Payment-method fees are refunded on full refunds; on a partial refund they are refunded pro rata.
You may instead choose G2Gamers store credit, which is issued immediately and never expires.
7.Partial refunds
Where part of a bundle was delivered correctly, or a top up was partially credited, we refund the undelivered portion and release the rest to the seller. Where an item works but differs from the listing in a way you accept, you and the seller may agree a partial refund from the dispute screen.
8.Chargebacks
Please raise a dispute with us before contacting your bank. A chargeback filed while our process is open freezes the order, suspends buying privileges until it is resolved, and takes longer than our own refund route. If you file a chargeback after already receiving a refund from us, we recover the duplicate amount and may close the account.
9.Seller-side effects
Refunds caused by seller fault are deducted from the seller's escrowed balance and count towards their dispute rate. Sellers who exceed the published dispute threshold face listing limits, higher escrow holds or removal from the Platform.
Need a refund now?
Open the order from Order Tracking and choose “Report a problem” — that route is faster than email because it attaches your order log automatically. If you cannot access the order, write to us.
